About our digital tools for neurodiversity platform

Health Innovation East Midlands

What is this platform?

This platform is a digital space designed to help professionals in the NHS explore and understand digital tools that support ADHD and wider neurodiversity pathways.

It brings together key information about each innovation in one place, helping NHS teams quickly access clear, practical details to support early conversations and decision-making.

All of the innovations featured are designed for, or already in use within, neurodiversity pathways. We also recognise that Ambient Voice Technologies (AVT) and generic communication platforms can play an important supportive role in these pathways, even if they are not purpose-built neurodiversity tools.

The primary driver behind this project was to support our colleagues at Health Innovation North West Coast by identifying digital tools that can complement and strengthen their Adult ADHD Pathway Model. This work contributes to a shared regional ambition to improve clarity, consistency, and access to high-quality digital support across ADHD and wider neurodiversity services.

Innovations will be added to this website as the programme evolves.

This platform is aimed at:

NHS clinicians and operational leads working within ADHD and neurodiversity pathways.

Commissioners and system decision-makers exploring potential digital options.

Transformation and improvement teams supporting pathway redesign.

Colleagues across local authorities, education, and voluntary sector partners involved in neurodiversity support.

Anyone looking to build a clearer understanding of the current digital landscape for ADHD and neurodiversity.

This site has been designed for use by healthcare professionals; however this site can be accessible for all. If you’re unsure about some of the phrases used across this website, take a look at our glossary page for definitions.

How the information is sourced

Health Innovation East Midlands has directly engaged with each innovator featured on this platform. As part of this process, HIEM has completed an Innovation Readiness Framework with each company to ensure their product meets a satisfactory level of compliance, regulatory status, and operational readiness for deployment within an NHS setting.

All descriptive content and product information is provided by the innovators themselves. While we work to keep information up to date, details may evolve as products continue to develop or respond to real-world learning.

If you please contact us at healthinovation-em@nottingham.ac.uk if you spot any information that needs to be updated.
